  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup and crisp edges.
  • In a very large bowl, combine the Chex cereals, pretzels, and nuts. Toss to mix evenly.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat (or in the microwave in 30-second bursts), melt the butter with brown sugar and corn syrup until smooth. Stir in vanilla and a tiny pinch of salt until glossy and cohesive (about 2 minutes).
  • Pour the warm glaze over the mix. Use a spatula to fold and toss until everything is evenly coated and glossy.
  • Spread the mixture in an even layer on the prepared sheet.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through to promote even browning.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the pan. If using chocolate chips, sprinkle or drizzle after cooling and wait a few minutes for the drizzle to set.
  • Once fully cooled, break into clusters and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
